Called for a quote because of home insurance company saying my roof was bad and it needed replacing. Eddie G came out and really thought that my roof didn’t need a full replacement. Instead I went with a full roof inspection and I submitted it to my insurance company and it canceled my repair. They could have given me the estimate and I would have not known, but there were honest and felt that replacing my roof is waste of my money. They really looked out for me. If I do need a roof replacement. I’m going with Cobex.

I had a good experience with Cobex. My low-sloped roof had an old tar and gravel sheet covering that began to leak. I called many roofing companies and Cobex was the first to be able to come out. Several told me they don't work on low-sloped roofs.The Cobex consultant was very professional and suggested a great solution in a silicone layer that could be rolled on top of the existing roof at a relatively low cost. The only other roofer who I was able to get to come out was unfamiliar with this option and just offered to replace it with a new tar and gravel sheet roof, which would have been more expensive and also can only be done in warm weather, whereas it was winter at the time. Everything I read in my research indicated that the silicone was a much better solution in every way (cost, durability, etc.), so I was very happy that Cobex offered this option.It took a while to get the job done because they had a backlog of projects in their queue and it was winter, and the roof has to be dry to apply the silicone. But they were consistent with their projected timeline. There was an issue that emerged with how to apply the silicone under my solar panels. They initially thought they could just clean the roof and roll the silicone under the panels without removing them, but the workers decided there wasn't enough space. Fortunately although I have a power purchase agreement with SunRun and thus don't own one set of my solar panels, Cobex is certified with SunRun, and so they were able to remove the panels without voiding the warranty or any other problems.The workers didn't speak much English (they were Russian), so that was a little inconvenient, but they just went about their work and I didn't have to talk to them much. After the job was done a Cobex inspector came out, and then called the workers back to seal around my HVAC system a little better, so I appreciate the thoroughness of their work there.All in all it was a good experience, very professional employees who generally communicated with me well and offered the best roofing solution, and they also offered good financing options. I definitely recommend Cobex.

The first sign that Cobex was a high-end company was that when I sent an online email through their website, it was almost immediately answered - very uncommon. The next was a free estimate by a very professional and knowledgeable individual. They said up front that they would not be the lowest price. They weren't, but then I've used lowest bidders in the past and usually pay more over time. The material, workmanship and timeliness (let along available financing) was well beyond what I have historically experienced with contractors in general. I previously had a cement tile roof that had to be removed. That was also completed seemlessly which would have likely been far more challenging for a smaller firm. I highly recommend Cobex as at least one firm to get a roofing estimate. The staff is excellent from the original contact to the estimator to the supervisor on the job (and the workers as well).

Everyone I encountered from this company was great to work with! When the weather turned too sour for my liking on install day, they were great to reschedule to another day. Then when they did come out to great down and install, they were done by midafternoon! I couldn't believe how fast the install crew was and the roof looks amazing!!!

Cobex had to remove my solar panels as we had our old shingles removed and replaced. The crews worked very hard and the results were very good. The came back a day later and reinstalled the solar system. All the dry rot plywood was replaced as well. They use high quality Rino underlayment which is the best you can buy.
